| History |
In early 1963, there was a need for a local Baptist church to be established in a trailer park just outside of a major US Air Force installation. By late 1963, Eielson Park Baptist Mission had been planted by some precious saints from Salcha Baptist Church. They planted the mission in the middle of a trailer park. Just a few short months later, Eielson Park Baptist Mission became constituted as Eielson Park Baptist Church.
The years since then have seen many changes. The trailer park has gone, but the community still remains. The names and faces have changed, but everyone still needs Christ. The name of the church even changed to Moose Creek Baptist Church and is located in the very spot the original mission was planted in 1963.
The church has seen 12 pastors come and go as well as literally thousands of military and civilian personnel. Today our average attendance runs just under 100 in worship. And we would like for you to be counted in the number of folks who have been blessed by God through the ministry here. Come join us this Sunday!
